Alarm didn't ring, or rang silently
- Check that notifications are allowed: iOS Settings → Rouse → Notifications.
- On iOS 26 and later, Rouse can ring through Silent mode — make sure you allowed alarm access when the app asked.
- Check Focus modes (Do Not Disturb, Sleep) — allow Rouse so alarms come through.
- Keep the alarm toggle on for your group, and confirm the repeat days include today.
- Don't rely on Rouse as your only alarm for anything critical — see our Terms.
Shame notifications not arriving
- Notifications must be enabled for Rouse in iOS Settings.
- Group activity alerts only fire for groups you're a member of — check you're still in the group.
Camera and Wake Proof
- If the camera won't open for a wake-proof mission, enable it in iOS Settings → Rouse → Camera.
- Wake-proof photos are visible to members of your groups — see the Privacy Policy for details.
Subscriptions & billing
- To restore a purchase on a new phone: Rouse → Settings → Restore Purchases.
- To cancel or change your plan: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Rouse Pro. Apple handles all billing.
- Free trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Delete your account or your data
- In the app: Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, wake history, shame events, and photos.
- Prefer email? Send a deletion or data request to the address below and we'll handle it.
